April 16, 2008: PokerTek, Inc., the industry pioneer and worldwide leader in automated poker tables and related software, announced today the expansion of its distribution agreement for its Heads-Up Challenge product with Cosmic Video Amusements, which will now include coverage for all of Europe. Previously, Cosmic Video had partnered with PokerTek solely for distribution in the England and Southern Ireland markets.

March marked another milestone for Heads-Up Challenge, which experienced its 250th unit placement. That unit was placed by Fair Share Amusements at Kelly’s Tavern in Chicago, Illinois, a classic south side Chicago bar.
“This game has been great for us,” said Bill Babasco, owner of Kelly’s Tavern. “Our regulars are having a ball playing it and we’re seeing new people come in to give it a try. Heads-Up Challenge is a great addition to our establishment.”
Heads-Up Challenge is a heads-up poker table targeted for bars and entertainment venues where adults compete in Texas Hold’em poker tournaments for amusement only.
